What is the issue or request?
To provide the best possible educational experience and ensure application security and stability, University of Florida Information Technology (UFIT) will provide the latest version of an application available at the start of the semester. Unless there is a critical security or stability issue, we will not change major application versions during a semester. The list of software provided by UFIT can be found here. Software requests must be made at least 1 month prior to the first meeting date. This timeline ensures that the software has gone through UF processes for risk assessment and UFIT can fulfill the request.
